Refund Policy
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Overview
Scope TV ("ScopE TV", "we", "us") sells a one-year licence for a media player application installed on a single television or streaming device. This policy explains when you can obtain a refund for that licence, how to request one, and how long it takes.
This policy applies to licence purchases, licence renewals, licence transfer fees and prepaid balance top-ups made through our web dashboard. It does not apply to any playlist, channel package or streaming subscription you buy from a third party, because we neither sell nor supply those.
14-day refund period
You may request a full refund of a licence purchase or renewal within 14 days of the date of that payment. You do not need to give a reason.
Where you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction granting a statutory right of withdrawal, this 14-day period is offered in addition to and consistent with those rights. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory right you have.
Try before you buy
Every device receives a 7-day free trial when the application is first installed and registered. We strongly encourage you to use the trial to confirm that the player works with your own playlist and on your specific television before purchasing a licence.
Because the trial makes the full player available at no cost, most compatibility problems can be identified before any payment is made.
What is not refundable
We do not refund a licence or renewal where the request is made more than 14 days after that payment, except where a statutory right or the specific circumstances below apply. A licence that has run its full year is not refundable once that year has ended.
We do not refund on the basis that a third-party playlist, channel or streaming service stopped working, changed its content, or was terminated by its provider. ScopE TV does not supply that service and has no control over it, and the licence you buy from us is for the player only.
We do not refund a prepaid balance that has already been spent on a licence, renewal or transfer. An unspent prepaid balance may be refunded on request.
We may decline a refund where we have evidence of fraudulent activity, abuse of the refund process, or repeated purchase-and-refund cycles on the same device.
Faulty software
If the player does not function on a supported device and our support team cannot resolve the problem, you are entitled to a refund regardless of the 14-day period.
Please contact support before requesting a refund in this case, so we can attempt a fix. Many reported faults are configuration issues with the playlist rather than defects in the player, and those can usually be resolved quickly.
How to request a refund
Send an email to [email protected] from the address associated with your purchase. Include the device identifier shown on your television's Home screen, and the approximate date of purchase.
You may also request a refund through the payment provider that processed your transaction, using the receipt they issued you by email.
We aim to acknowledge every refund request within two business days.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card, account or person than the one used for the purchase.
Once approved, refunds are typically processed within five business days on our side. Your bank or card issuer may take a further five to ten business days to show the amount in your account, and that part is outside our control.
When a licence is refunded, the licence is revoked and the device returns to its unlicensed state. Refunding a renewal removes the year that renewal added.
