Questions about pricing
Does the price include any channels or content?
No. ScopE TV is a player application only. It ships with no channels, no playlists and no media of any kind. You enter the details of a service you already subscribe to elsewhere, and the player plays it on your TV. We are not affiliated with any content provider.
How long does a licence last, and does it renew itself?
A licence covers one device for one year from the date of purchase. It does not renew itself and we do not store your card — when the year is up, the player stops until you choose to renew. Renewing early adds a year on top of the time you have left rather than replacing it.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Every device gets a 7-day free trial that starts automatically the first time the app opens, with all player features unlocked and no card needed.
I have two televisions. Do I need two licenses?
Yes. A licence is tied to one device, identified by its MAC address, and each one is renewed separately. If you replace a television, you can move an existing licence to the new device rather than buying again.
What if my TV breaks?
You can transfer the licence to a replacement device from your dashboard, keeping whatever time is left on it. If the replacement is a more expensive platform than the original, you pay only the difference between the two prices.
