How to install Scope TV on Fire TV with Downloader
Scope TV is not in the Amazon Appstore, so on Fire TV it installs with Downloader — the free app Amazon publishes for exactly this. It takes about two minutes and one seven-digit code. After the first install the app updates itself, so you only ever do this once.
Scope TV is a player application only. It does not include channels, content or a subscription — you connect the playlist you already have from your own provider.

Enter this code in Downloader's Home screen. If you would rather type the full address, it is scope-tv.com/fire/scope-player-1.0.9.apk — the code is simply shorter on a remote.
Which Fire TV devices this works on
- Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick Lite, Fire TV Stick 4K and 4K Max — every generation.
- Fire TV Cube, first generation and later.
- Fire TV built into a television, including Toshiba, Insignia and Amazon's own sets.
- Fire OS 5 and newer, which covers every Fire TV device still receiving updates.
Older Fire TV sticks have limited storage. Scope TV is about 4 MB, so it fits comfortably even on a stick that is close to full.
Install it step by step

Install Downloader
From the Fire TV home screen open Find, then Search, and type "Downloader". Install the orange app by AFTVnews. It is free and published in the Amazon Appstore.

Allow Downloader to install apps
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps, and turn the switch ON for Downloader. On some models Developer options only appears after you open Settings → My Fire TV → About and click the Fire TV Stick line seven times.

Enter the code 5434133
Open Downloader. On the Home tab there is a single address box — type 5434133 into it and press Go. The download is around 4 MB and finishes in a few seconds.

Install, then delete the file
When the download finishes, Fire TV asks whether to install. Choose Install, then Done, then Delete when Downloader offers to remove the installer — it is no longer needed and frees the space back up.

Open Scope TV and add your playlist
Launch Scope TV from the Fire TV apps row. It shows a MAC address on screen. Enter that MAC address on this website together with your own playlist details, restart the app, and your channels appear. The first 7 days are free.

Allow Scope TV to install updates (first update only)
The first time Scope TV finds a new version, Fire TV asks for permission a second time — this one is for Scope TV itself, not Downloader, and it appears only when the update is already downloaded. Choose Settings on that prompt, turn the switch ON for Scope TV, then press Back and Install. Fire TV never asks again, and you never need Downloader for a later version.
After the first install
It updates itself
Scope TV checks for a new version on its own and offers to install it. The very first update asks you to allow installs for Scope TV (step 6); after that they install with a single confirmation. You never need Downloader or the code again.
Keep Downloader installed
There is no need to remove it, but nothing breaks if you do — Scope TV updates without it.
Your activation survives updates
An update keeps your licence, your playlist and your favourites. Uninstalling the app is what clears them, so update rather than reinstall.
Fire TV questions
Is sideloading with Downloader allowed on Fire TV?
Yes. Amazon includes the setting for it in Fire TV's own menus, and Downloader is published in the Amazon Appstore. Installing an app this way does not void anything or modify Fire OS.
Why is Scope TV not in the Amazon Appstore?
It is not published there at the moment, so Downloader is the way to install it on Fire TV. The app itself is identical to the Android TV version from the Play Store.
Downloader says the code is not found.
Check you typed 5434133 into the address box on Downloader's Home tab and not into the browser tab, which expects a full web address. If it still fails, type the full address instead: scope-tv.com/fire/scope-player-1.0.9.apk
It downloaded but says the app was not installed.
That almost always means Install unknown apps is still off for Downloader — see step 2. If you previously installed Scope TV from a different source, uninstall that copy first, then install again.
An update asks me to allow installs again — is that normal?
Yes, and only once. The permission you gave in step 2 belongs to Downloader; when Scope TV installs its own update it needs the same permission for itself. Choose Settings on the prompt, turn the switch ON for Scope TV, then press Back and Install. Every later update installs without asking.
Do I have to repeat this for every new version?
No. The app updates itself from within. The code is only for the very first install.
